Presentation Title: A Paranormal Awakening

Inspired by the work of the late local Nova Scotian folklorist Helen Creighton, Kim developed a passion for the paranormal, folklore, and human nature at a young age. Born into an entrepreneurial family on the East Coast of Canada, it is no surprise that Kim has become as successful as she has. She holds a Business Management degree from Holland College and a Small Vessel Operator’s Proficiency from the Nova Scotia Community College’s Nautical Institute. Her creative nature inspired by her folklorist roots continues propel her on an incredible journey.

Kim began writing and telling paranormal stories on her podcast Boos and Bourbon, which eventually led to her becoming an investigator and co-host on the hit Eastlink television series Haunted. She has since been promoted to Production Manager of Haunted which is entering its 10th season this fall.

Kim has extensive paranormal investigative and research experience and has visited some of the most haunted locations in the United States such as: Waverly Hills Sanitorium, Conjuring House, Lizzy Borden House, Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop, the Witch House in Salem, and the St. Augustine Lighthouse to name only a few. She prides herself on being practical, maybe even somewhat skeptical, when it comes to her approach with paranormal activity.
